Dooze Jackers produce every style of banging music, masterfully working from a palate of dancehall, dutch house, moombahton and electro. The Montreal duo has seen support from international artists such as Diplo, Dillon Francis, Figure, Will Bailey, Jaymo & Andy George, AC Slater and Sound of Stereo. They’ve released 6 EPs and have been featured on BBC Radio One’s ‘’New djs we trust’’ for both their lastest release ‘Dead Sultan’ and their dance floor destroyer “Got Line.”

“Why We Fwee” is the soundtrack to a rudeboy breaking out of jail; swirling alarms wail over booming moombahton drums and ragga vocals. Torro Torro’s remix keeps it at 108 BPM as a foundation for their signature buzzy synths and buildups. Billy the Gent & Long Jawns (of “Vibrate” fame) ditch the vocals and take it up to Bubblin tempo, blowing the energy through the roof. Gianni Marino goes uptempo as well, chopping the vocals up for a Major Lazer style banger. Rounding out the EP is an original collabo from Dooze Jackers, Elo!i and Heights, a grinding yet melodic dembow jam every bit as compelling as the title track.
